I lost my sister to covid in 2020 and was in the middle of a very busy work season. Her children decided not to have her services until the following spring so I never really had the quiet time I needed to morn her passing. I love the canvas that was made with her in the arms of Jesus. She lived Christ and knew where she would go after this like. Seeing this canvas has made me so happy to know she is with Him and no longer in pain or suffering. Thank you so much for this amazing piece. I will cherish it for life.

It is uncanny how My Guardian Art took a photo of our son, with one leg due to Osteosarcoma, and have him walking with Jesus. He has both his legs and walks next to Jesus at the ocean’s shore. My husband was so touched and happy that he put the portrait on his chest of drawers rather than on the wall. Thank you for such an amazing gift!
L
My canvas is beautiful. It helped to ease the pain to see her in the arms of Jesus.

Got the walking with Jesus print for a coworker's retirement gift. The person with Jesus was her daughter who had passed. She absolutely loved it.

The framed canvases in my office not only look great and prompt friendly discussions with my clients, they also give my office area a sense of belief and purpose.

With some amount of apprehension I opened the package not really knowing what to expect. But, I will tell you the portrait is beautiful and brought tears to my eyes. I made a trip to a nearby sawmill, bought some American Cherry lumber, and spent nearly a week making a frame. It is the first thing I look at in the morning and the last thing I see at night. Couldn't be happier.

This was beautiful. Very realistic. It made a beautiful piece at my mother’s funeral. Arrived quickly and I will cherish it forever.

We absolutely love our Canvas Portraits of our sweet Ruby Rose. We have one over our fireplace and one in our bedroom and they are a permanent fixture on our wall to honor our sweet babe being held in the arms of Our LORD JESUS. Thank you for the talent you share...

My print was perfect of my two great grandchildren.
About this design
Create a personalized Christian canvas of your loved one sitting with Jesus of Nazareth in a quiet golden field, created from your uploaded photo. This design works as a comforting Christian memorial gift and as a faith-filled keepsake for a child, grandchild, godchild, or family member who needs a visible reminder that Jesus is near.
In this version Jesus is painted the way historians describe a Jewish man from first-century Galilee: olive-brown skin, dark eyes, short dark curly hair and a short beard, dressed in a simple tunic and a wool mantle. Your photo becomes the heart of the artwork: Jesus sits close, attentive and gentle, as if teaching something meant only for them, in a golden meadow in Galilee scattered with red anemones. The mood is peaceful, warm, and deeply personal, with the feeling of a private lesson in sunlight rather than a dramatic scene. For a memorial, it offers comfort without overclaiming. For a living child or grandchild, it becomes a daily reminder to listen, trust, and walk with Christ.
"Learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart." Matthew 11:29
Jesus as He May Have Looked
No one knows exactly what Jesus looked like, and the Bible says very little about His appearance. We set out to make this Jesus as biblically and historically accurate as we could: a Jewish man of Nazareth in first-century Galilee, painted the way historians describe the men of His time and place. It is another way to picture Him, next to the classic paintings many of us grew up with.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this what Jesus really looked like?
No one can know His exact face. This portrait follows what historians know about Jewish men in Galilee in His time: olive-brown skin, dark eyes, short dark hair and a beard. Many families find it a meaningful way to picture Him.
Can this be used as a Christian memorial gift?
Yes. This design is especially gentle for remembrance because it shows the person close to Jesus in a peaceful teaching moment. You can add a name, years, or a short memorial phrase after the preview is created.
Is it also appropriate for a living child or grandchild?
Yes. For children, grandchildren, godchildren, and teens, the artwork becomes a visual reminder that Jesus is a teacher, guide, and companion. It works beautifully for bedrooms, prayer corners, and milestone gifts.
Can I add a Bible verse or short phrase?
You can add one short message line, plus an optional name and date or occasion. Short text works best on canvas, so use a phrase such as Walk with Jesus, Forever loved, or Held in His peace.
Do I see the artwork before buying?
Yes. Your artwork preview is free, and you only order if you love the result. You can also see the optional text proof before choosing your canvas size or frame.
