I was so touched by the canvas I received. The details that were incorporated, the way my husband was sitting with Jesus, the way he was dressed in jeans with hiking boots… it took my breath away as this is how I see my husband in Heaven. Thank you. It’s a treasure and brings me much peace.

I am very happy with my Shepherd’s Walk - Personalized Canvas. The artist used a picture of me and my deceased husband standing in a field of blue flowers and combined it with an image of Jesus. The addition of the blueflowers in the foreground make it even more personal. I love this image because it shows that my husband is now with Jesus and that Jesus walks beside me every day.

I lost my sister to covid in 2020 and was in the middle of a very busy work season. Her children decided not to have her services until the following spring so I never really had the quiet time I needed to morn her passing. I love the canvas that was made with her in the arms of Jesus. She lived Christ and knew where she would go after this like. Seeing this canvas has made me so happy to know she is with Him and no longer in pain or suffering. Thank you so much for this amazing piece. I will cherish it for life.

It is uncanny how My Guardian Art took a photo of our son, with one leg due to Osteosarcoma, and have him walking with Jesus. He has both his legs and walks next to Jesus at the ocean’s shore. My husband was so touched and happy that he put the portrait on his chest of drawers rather than on the wall. Thank you for such an amazing gift!
L
My canvas is beautiful. It helped to ease the pain to see her in the arms of Jesus.

About this design
A portrait with the weight of a lifetime of love.
Turn your pet's photo into a classic oil portrait in the manner of the old masters: deep shadows, warm candlelit golds, and the quiet glow of light falling on two faces. Jesus holds your dog or cat close, cheek resting on their head, eyes lowered in tender love.
It has the dignity of a painting that has hung in a family home for generations, made for the companion who deserved nothing less.
“The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of distress; He cares for those who trust in Him.”
Nahum 1:7
Your Pet's Photo. Three Old Master Paintings.
Upload one to four photos of your pet and preview three paintings of the embrace, each in rich, dark oils lit like a candlelit studio:
- Chiaroscuro light: one warm light falls across Jesus and your pet and fades into a deep, quiet background.
- Visible brushwork: layered oil texture in the fur, the robes, and the glow, like a painting from a museum wall.
Every painting keeps your pet's face, coat colors, and markings from your photos, so they look like themselves.
Add Words Only If They Belong
Leave the painting text-free, or add your pet's name, their years or a special date, and one short message. The lettering is added after the painting is made, so every letter stays crisp.
For example: Rocky · 2015 – 2026 · Loyal to the very end

Questions Before You Create
Which photos give the best likeness?
Choose clear, well-lit photos taken close enough to see your pet's face, eyes, ears, and coat pattern. A front-facing or gently angled photo works best. Avoid heavy filters, deep shadows, and photos where your pet is far away. You can add up to four photos of the same pet for more detail.
Will the colors look dark on my wall?
The paintings are warm and rich rather than dim: the light gathers on your pet's face and on Jesus, and the background falls into soft shadow, the way old master portraits are lit.
Does it work for cats and small pets too?
Yes. Dogs and cats both work well, from small breeds to large ones, when the photos show the face, eye color, and markings clearly.
Will the preview watermark appear on my canvas?
No. The online preview is watermarked to protect your artwork. Your finished canvas and included digital image do not carry the preview watermark.
