Questions
What kinds of photos can you restore?
Black and white, sepia and faded color photos, with tears, creases, stains, scratches or blur. Wedding photos, portraits, soldiers in uniform and whole family groups are all welcome.
Do I have to send you the original?
No, your original stays safe with you. A phone picture of the print or a scan is all we need.
How do I take a good picture of an old photo?
Lay it flat near a window in daylight, turn off the flash, hold your phone straight above it and keep the whole photo in the picture. If it is in an album or a frame, take it out first if you can, to avoid glare.
What if my photo is badly damaged?
Please try it, seeing the result is free. We can repair a great deal, but we cannot bring back what the photo no longer shows. If a face is missing or very blurred, it may not look the way you remember.
Will it still look like them?
That is what we care about most. The faces, clothes and setting come from your photo, and a real person checks every picture before it is printed. If something is not right, write to us and we will make it right.
Can I keep it black and white?
Yes. Choose "Keep the original look" and the photo is repaired without adding color. You can try both and choose the one you love.
Can I add a name, a date or a verse?
Yes, if you wish. Once your restored photo is ready, type your words under it and you will see them on the picture. They are printed just as you type them, so please check the spelling.
What shape and size will my canvas be?
Your canvas takes the shape of your photo, so nothing important is cut away: wide, tall or square. You then see every size that fits, with its price, before you order.
Can I order one for each of my brothers and sisters?
Yes, and it costs less. Buy 2 and save 10%, buy 4 or more and save 20%. The saving is applied by itself.
How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive in 6 to 12 business days: 2 to 4 to make your canvas, and 4 to 8 on the way. We ship to the United States and Canada, and we email you a tracking link when it ships.
Is my photo safe?
Your photo is used only to create your artwork. It is never posted publicly or used for marketing. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
